Pretty Little Witch Layout

Well in the spirit of a challenge group I'm participating in.  I was challenged to create a Layout using a photo you have been wanting to scrap, but haven't gotten around to it, using distressing ink on the page and use paper or pack you have had sitting there.  I don't know about anyone else, but I am a Fall/Halloween/Paper pack horder...I have entirely too many paper stacks, thus in doing this challenge I am forcing myself to use my stash!  I am now starting to get Halloween 2011 done so...fingers crossed hopefully its done before Halloween 2012 rolls around!  Thanks for looking!

Coaches Gifts Simple and Inexpensive!

Hi Everyone, we finally just finished our regular season of baseball/softball...now we're into playoffs...However, to thank the Coaches (my husband Manager also), I found this easy, inexpensive idea online to create these great gifts!  I always give credit where credit is due, so here is the source of my inspiration: http://justpleasedaspunch.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Our Team for Little League was the Orioles, thus our colors were Black and Orange.  Here are the actual gift items:

STEP 1: PUCHASED THESE GLASS MUGS AT DOLLAR TREE (YES ONLY $1 EACH)

STEP 2: USED VINYL AND SILHOUETTE CAMEO TO CUT NAMES AND BASEBALL

STEP 3:  USED ARMOUR ETCH ($7 WITH TAX AFTER COUPON AT MICHAELS) TO SPONGE ON THE ETCHING...VERY SIMPLE LET IT SIT ON GLASS FOR ABOUT 15 MIN. AND RINSE WITH WARM WATER AND POOF, ALL ETCHED!! EXAMPLE OF SEVERAL BELOW.

TO FINALIZE THE GIFT I SIMPLY PRINTED A 5 X 7 PORTRAIT OF THEIR SON AT COSTCO AND PLACED INTO FRAMES I PURCHASED AT MICHAEL'S (5 FRAMES IN PACK FOR $12 AFTER TAX AND COUPON) AND WRAPPED FRAMES WITH ORANGE WRAPPING ($0.59 AT PARTY CITY FOR ROLL).  THEN COMPLETED WITH CLEAR WRAP (PURCHASED 2 ROLLS AT DOLLAR TREE).  SIMPLE, INEXPENSIVE AND A GIFT THEY CAN KEEP FOREVER!

For the Sponsors I ordered plaques (not photographed here) and made these cards to give them from the boys (example shown was completely signed by the team and Coaches yet, but you get the idea :). No machined USED, simple, easy and adorable!!

My new toy that I'm embarrassed to say I have had since the first of March....but in the chaos of children, activities, work and remodeling...I'm barely just taking it out of the box!  But oh how I'm excited....I've been wanting a very openly versatile machine for a long time and know I have much more crafty flexibility!!!  Can't wait to try it out tonight!!!

Making an Appearance

Oh me oh my...where to begin...No, I have not fallen off the face of the earth, but my husband and I are remodeling our home and it has truly consumed our time along with the kids and all of there activities.  I feel horrible because I have not been actively reviewing all of your blogs, because I honestly love seeing everyones creativity!  Well I finally have had a couple of minutes to sneak in a few LO's as my new tile flooring is installed!  Here is a tid bit of my house in chaos and my quit bit of scrapping!

What I've been up too......

Well I have been an extremely busy bee these days!  I haven't had the chance to photo many of my late night projects.

Happily though I had an amazing girls scrappy weekend at the Scrapbook Expo in Anaheim in the midst of my crazy life.  Love my kids and truly enjoy watching them in all they do, but between sports and school, I have little time to craft....thus my retreat at the Expo was so much needed and allowed me to get my crafty juices flowing!

Here are some quick pics of a couple of things I did thanks to the Expo:

WINTER/NEW YEARS LO
**Used MME Lost and Found Papers and Thickers for this LO (flowers were made from Basic Grey scraps)

CHEER LAYOUT FROM MY DD'S CHEER
I put together this LO with the typical Bling, Sparkle and stars you would expect for any All Star Cheer LO...love my bling!  Papers were just a hodge podge of scraps from past LO's

CRAFT CHALLENGE GIFTS FOR OUR GROUP OF CRAFTY FRIENDS
I put together these gifts for the challenge with a Valentine's Love theme.  Each of our "crafty" friends received one of these personalized with their names on them.  I purchased all contents at Hobby Lobby and had a blast putting them together.
**Each envelope in the kit contained a SECRET word that the crafter was to use on their LO or Card, along with instructions on what needs to be met for the challenge.

Ultimate Fan

My family are huge anything UCLA fans and we attend many sporting events from football, basketball to baseball, so I have my work cut out for me to scrap all of them, but I am making some progress!  This is a simple 2 page LO I did of our last baseketball game.  All products are from my "stash".  Papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle as well as several open stock prints from Joanns.  I used the Epiphany epoxy button maker to make the UCLA buttons, letters are a combination of American Craft Thickers and left over Echo Park Letter (mini ones).

Lego Mania in 2012

Hi!  With the chaos of the Holiday's I have had no time to do anything crafty!  But New Year, New Goals and More time = Crafty Time!  I am excited to have finally started scrapping our last trip to Legoland California!  It was such a fun trip and I am having a blast scrapping it!  Haven't used my Cricut much for these as part of my 2012 Goal is to use more of my stash and I have tons of Thickers, Kits and Embellisments I need to utilize!  Thank you so much for looking!
